Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

At least you didn't find any mice in it.

Several years
I opened up the grill for the first time that season, as the guests were arriving for a bday party.

Inside, 1 mamma mouse and 5 little newborn, hairless mice.

No we did not cook them up.

Worst we ever found is a nest for squirrels or birds….thankfully no live/dead animals in there (at the cottage bbq).

I’d get a small piece of sheet metal by flattening a beer can ( you must have one) and put a screw through to secure the tube and go for another three years

I want to redo the garage door seals (sides and maybe top) as the one's installed have gaps at top and bottom. Anyone find a set they like? Looking online there's plenty of options.
I need to replace the right side seal on mine. Also do some body work on the right front fender of the cage. :(

I need to get my siding painted. Wife wants to hire someone in but I’m fine with at least doing lower and ground levels. I’m wondering if getting an entry level Graco airless sprayer would be a good idea (as in…would it pay for itself). Looks like the project line starts at about $380. I figure that would also be good for deck stain and interior jobs too.

I have no painting skills with a roller and brush. Probably should have led with that.

I think most sprayers should be fine. Problem is getting coverage consistent throughout the side.

You’ll probably end up rolling and brushing the uneven spray to even it up.

That doesn’t sound like fun. These airless sprayers are supposed to be the dogs bollocks for painting jobs or do you have to spend a small fortune for a good one?

Same as always, most of the money goes to marketing in my experience.

They’re great. But you need to know how to use them properly.

Graco airless are fantastic, there is a learning curve but not insurmountable. You can get very good coverage if you’ve paid attention. Airless does not mean no overspray so be conscious of your surroundings. It would be my way of doing siding .
