Dad has a sweet Dewalt 20V chainsaw. I really enjoy using it for smaller trees and larger branches.
Now that I have the RYOBI 40V mower I may go that route or 18V Ridgid.

I’m pretty muck locked into the Milliwakee battery ecosystem, I was all over the place (rigid, Dewalt, makita…), but now I’m down to a single platform.
It’s nice because I can keep a bunch of the same batteries charged without carrying around multiple brands of chargers and batteries. Not the most economical way to go for around the house stuff, but if you work with tools and are anything but a carpenter, Milliwakee is your only practical choice.
My brother is responsible for getting Einhell to market in Canada , it’s an enormous German brand of power tools and a complete garden / lawn system sold in seventy countries but good luck getting traction in a Milwaukee/ Dewalt world .

Don’t be so sure of that! I saw my first Einhell tools in the hand of pros yesterday - carpenters. They were raving about them.
When I looked at their line, it basically screams homeowners, carpenters and woodworkers. Priced ok, and available at a lot of retail and Amazon.
The key to breaking into the contractor market is service - tools fail - break or wear. If you can’t get an over the counter replacement… it’s a one and done buy for pros.
Tell your bro to send me a complete set of everything, I’ll let the crew try them and feedback an honest review.
Also let him know they should have made an interchange plate for battery slots with Milliwakee or Dewalt… makes migration possible. I don’t understand why new entrants don’t do this. Probably patents, but Milliwakee at least would be a candidate as their patents are prior to 2008, and this should have expired by now.
My damn RIDGID tools won’t die after over a decade. The batteries themselves are still the original ones bought many years ago with zero issues.
Only reason I bought the RYOBI is because RIDGID doesn’t make it.
Dewalt is in my future simply because I expect to inherit oodles of the stuff once my dad decides he’s done, or the alternative.
Never even heard of Einhell but good for another competitor to get into the market. Agree with @Mad Mike, contractors don’t have time to wait for warranty replacements…they need tools now. @crankcall where does your brother sell them or distribute to? I wouldn’t mind taking a look.
