Toronto EMS will accept donations of used/damaged helmets.

Saw a few unclear threads about this. I donated a scratched helmet today to Toronto EMS. Emailed Ron and dropped it off at the after-hours security desk.

How about making a confirmed list of GTA organizations that will take helmets? Add contact info if you know of any...

Practice removing them from your head without exacerbating your neck injury.

I believe St. John Ambulance divisions may take used helmets as well. I know my brother in law has one for his division, I'm not sure what rank he is but he leads his division as well as does training.

This is a great idea, really didn't think that a system like this was in place. Good to know as I have a helmet that I need to get rid off.

I post up once a year or so looking for used helmets that are crashed etc.

Its perfect the newer the helmet the better, as our collection looks like what evil kneivel used to wear back in the 70's. lol.
