Hey guys,
It's been a long time since i posted, but i did so with good reason! Life has taken a very interesting path for me and has led me to the old continent for almost a year now.
So it is finally time to start riding again, and i never had such a dilema in my whole life!
I need a two up bike that has as much sport in it as possible!
I live inAustria now, so i finally get to enjoy the curvy roads at its fullest!
I have had a vfr750 and a gsxr750 with which i have done quite a few track days as welll.
My finalists are:
Vfr800 (had the 750, loved the bike!) hard to find here and quite expensive
Cbr600f (canadian f4i with the banana seat)
Cbr600f 2011-and up (new, but is it sporty or tourey enough?)
Gsxr750 01-03 (i loved this sportbike, and decent on the pillion)
R1 (f the pillion, let her feel pain, but give me the toy for the odd autobahn weekend)

I like to do long rides, and i like to corners.
Any suggestions?

Very Sport. My friend went from a 08 gsxr 600 to the FZ1 and swmotech quick release luggage, and his only complaint was grinding his pegs more often.

Erm, no...no....no.... what was FZ750 back in 1985?
It can keep up just fine and not so touring, better sitting position for longer rides....

I grinded my pegs on the vfr quite a bit. It was a nice way of reminding me to slow the f down
Does it have the R1 engine only detuned? How about suspension?
I'll def. start having a look!

I wanted VFR800, but ended up with F4i after the test ride a few years ago. VFR will take you on longer rides. F4i is less comfortable (even with Corbin banana seat) due to more aggressive seating position, but sportier. With banana, F4i is a good 2-up option, unless you're going for long distances of course.
