Craft Beer: What are you drinking now??

New brewery opened in Milton yesterday -Third Moon Brewing. They have 2 beers, one of which is an amazing Citra bomb called Bone Tree. It’s probably one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. It has all that earthy and pungent Citra goodness, but a very smooth mouth feel. They’ve put some thought/ work into this beer. Sorry - I drank the beer before I thought to take a picture of it!

Bandit brewing Elements #6 - Flanders Red.

Like a weak attempt at a traditional Lambic, but it just didn't work out.

Out of the 8 beers I bought from Bandit, none were good ?

I've had the BDP from Clifford.
It was enjoyable.

Unlike the Bench Oak Grove sour ale I drank today...

Rainhardt Daywalker "light" IPA.
GF liked it. I'm not a fan.

GLB HazeMama IPA.
Yes. Another Hazy IPA...
This one I liked.
VERY tropical. Big pineapple notes.

I was eyeballing this cellar bottle for a while. Opened it May long.. Cantillion Rose de Gambrinus, 2011. Highly recommend this Belgian raspberry lambic.

Shows the sediment.

Have a great Sunday.

Cantillon makes some VERY good beer

Willibald Farm Brewery in Ayr released two new IPAs last weekend. Since they were offering curb side pickup and are only about 10kms from me I went and grabbed a few. Oh, and they also make sanitizer, so picked some of that up as well.

Snowbirds - a nice 6.5% IPA
Southern Pine - Double IPA w/Galaxy, Citra and Mosiac. Amazing at 8.2%

Wellington Shubie Sour Raspberry IPA.
Tasty, but the Omnipollo Aniara is still the best.

Now drinking a Wellington ZAP dry hop sour.
One of my favorites.

Omnipollo Mimmy Mimosa. 7%
Looks like orange juice, smells like orange juice. Tastes literally like a screwdriver.

Muddy York / Left Field Collab. Cola beer.
Bad. Not good. Do not like...

...and a Fullers London Pride British ale. If you haven’t tried this its fantastic. Very well balanced beer and a very typical type of Brit brew.

Chronicle Brewing Dwarven Stout.
I'm really digging these guys.
Everything I've had so far has been well executed.

Cowbell Pomegranate Honeysuckle sour.
Not carbonated, not sour, don't taste the fruit
Amazing color though.

Bench Belgian Pale Ale.
Belgians aren't my thing. They all taste like banana.
This one was pretty clean, and the head retention was fantastic.

New Imperial IPA from Willibald - River Monster
An 8.4% beast that is super smooth.

I also picked up their latest triple IPA - Where the F*** is Ayr?
Haven’t had it yet. Will report back. So far everything I’ve tried from them has been really delicious.

Just a wee bit west of Kitchener and Cambridge. Maybe 15km outside of those city limits.

Lol - thanks man.
It’s actually the name of the beer. I guess they get asked that question all the time from people who aren’t near Waterloo region.
They’re only about a 15 minute drive from me.

Cheers!
