I usually ride in Ontario and found during C19 ordeal that washrooms are few and far between. For example Haliburton systematically closed all public washrooms. Going without lunch is one thing but washrooms aught to be a human rights issue. Just my 2 cents.
 
Not a safe assumption to make, lots of snowmobile trails exist where the land owners do not want quads tearing up their land under any circumstances. Huge difference between letting snowmobiles ride your snow covered land and having quads rip the snot out of your property, those things are even more destructive then a horse trail.
Not to mention that water crossings are frozen then. A few years ago near Ranger lake the trip ended at running water.
 
I am down for a trip to Chisasibi towards the end of the summer. I am thinking about going alone, but I would prefer going with a group.
Are you thinking about taking in the TRANS TAIGA? Maybe not the best idea solo but that said we did meet a lone rider when we did it a few years back.
