Uncle Joe is a calm choice in the middle of a storm.
yes
and now that there appears to be a clear nominee
and that it's Joe, I'm thinking Obama will get off the sideline
he's still immensely popular and can't think of a stronger anti-Trump

Man I'd hate to be found out (or mislabeled) as Patient Zero in that state....USA Today newsflash headline "New York's outbreak may have come from Europe"
y'all just figuring this out now?
Oh my we are running out of disinfectant wipes, what are we going to do! The active ingredient in those things is Ethanol, where are we Ever going to find some of that magic stuff![]()
While I agree with that, I've had issues where my non-COVID dry cough (every year this time of year) almost prevented me from getting on a flight. This cough lasts months so technically I'd not be able to fly, or go into a store for 3-4 months. I'm not sure what it is from but I've had it this time of year since I was a kid.I am surprised at how polite stores are being about some of the rules. At costco yesterday they had a sign up that paraphrased said "If you have a cough, if you came back into the country less than 14 days ago or if (I forget the third one), we ask that you reconsider coming into the store". Reconsider? wtf? If you got back into the country less than 14 days ago, go tf home and stay there you stupid pos. If we discover any of our members have violated this law, their membership will be immediately cancelled and they will never be eligible again.
Read the MSDS on how much Ammonium Chloride is in thereIt's actually Ammonium Chloride in most of the name brand stuff.
The small disposable wipes and such use Isopropyl alcohol.
Ethanol is usually only used in the liquid style hand sanitizers. It doesn't work well in wipes as the alcohol can evaporate before the wipe is used leaving little or no actual sanitizing agent.

Thankfully the doctor answered my call on a Friday night and emailed Air Canada right away to confirm I'm safe to fly.
I don't think a blanket restriction on coughers is reasonable. Maybe coughers wear a mask is a good compromise? Even if they don't have it, I could see people freaking out so it just gives everyone a level of comfort. My main issue was they lumped in violating the 14 day self-isolation as a similar item. It is not similar, it is law. Go tf home. While I agree with that, I've had issues where my non-COVID dry cough (every year this time of year) almost prevented me from getting on a flight. Sadly, that could be just the homeless that have died. Although the very shallow depth of burial does strongly suggest it is temporary. I am surprised they didn't appear to do anything to make them easy to pull up (plywood/poly over the top or ropes underneath). Getting those out again without breaking open the top boxes will be a pita. Here's an undated shot of a mass burial which is described for COVID-19. Apparently this is a temporary burial while the morgues catch up.
Read some of the history of this island, very interesting and a LOT of people buried there without families to claim the bodies, or people that just can't afford a burial.
@GreyGhost That's what AC asked me to do. 'Just keep your mask on and try not to cough to freak out the others.' In a plane at 10% capacity, it was easy to just stay away from everyone and I kept candy on hand to keep from coughing. In Vancouver I just spent thee 3hrs b/w flights walking around the terminal to prevent anyone from getting too close. Plane was also at 10% capacity so really easy to keep away from everyone.
