Car/iPod Connection Fail

Without warning, the iPod connection in my car stopped working. The iPod itself is still working fine on its own and connects in my wife's car through the USB, and her iPhone works in my car using the USB, so I can't figure out where the breakdown is occurring. The car display recognizes that the USB connection has been made to the iPod, but is otherwise completely unresponsive. Can anyone recommend a solution?

A iPod connection is suppose to warn you when it's going to fail?

Id replace all the wiring Abd see where that takes you.

There should be a reset somewhere on your head unit. Usuall a small hole with a micro switch behind it that you press with a small pin or a paper clip. That' or disconnect the power via the fuse or battery terminal to reset it.

Haha! That's exactly what I was thinking!! :) "Better watch it!! I'll fail!! That's right! I'm gonna fail!!" :) I think he meant it always worked previously with no "glitches".
