That's what happens when you write laws for appearances and votes of those that do not know any better. Another disgusting move by the drama teacher in chief. Meanwhile, very little meaningful work being done on the actual problems as that would be hard.
 
Did I miss a larger discussion on C-21 somewhere? This seems like just the tip of the iceberg of problems it presents.

It has come up in "do you shoot" and justin time threads. The worst kind of political garbage with impacts on law abiding citizens, almost no impacts on criminals and lots of talking points with not even an attempt to provide a workable solution (eg buyback at fair market value will cost billions).
 
Looks like a ruger American. Clearly after modifications a horribly offensive firearm (sarcasm). What is truly offensive is that these bills make no true efforts to address the issues of illegal firearms and continue to restrict the legal gun ownership.

Like everything else with JT and the current iteration of the Liberals. All for show, no substance behind it.

Sounds good for the newspapers/media? Sure...let's do it.

Does it make sense and is a responsible decision? No...too boring. Let's not do that one.

I'll be honest though, I haven't read the bill, or into it much as I'm not a gun owner and even though I'm planning on taking the gun course eventually...not sure if I'd get a gun just yet. Wife is definitely against it in the house.
