Buddy who went down on the Gardiner today

Hope you're alright and that your bike isn't too mangled. I'm the guy with the SUV that stopped to help you out and get you and your bike off the highway onto the shoulder / stayed with you until your friends came!

Ride safe out there and get that chain fixed lol!

The bike low sided and he skid / fell pretty hard in the middle lane on the Gardiner Expwy East by the Lakeshore turnoff. In his defense it started to rain and come down pretty hard when it happened. It looked like there was too much slack in the chain and it and it came off the rear sprocket.

Wow that sucks. I figured if the chain snaps then it would just hang there and you can ride it out to a curb / shoulder.

He went down pretty hard right in front of me, I couldn't just drive off and leave him on the highway.

I feel like someone would definitely repay that to me heaven forbid it ever happened while I was riding.
