least likely to be stolen because they're the least likely to be out on the roads or parked up in an underground parking lot...

Condo + Burgman = Piece of mind I guess....

thanks for posting.. but the article is just junk journalism in my opinion based on one person's opinion and no real facts on actual bikes stolen

Burgman 650 wins again! :lmao:

Sure, but it's fun reading just the same. :)

I like some of the other articles linked there..

Lots of good fun reading there!

They take shots at just about everything so lots of good self-depreciating humour. (I'm sure some riders will take it too seriously and get bent out of shape.)

Bahaha at the Goldwing.I seldom lock the steering when i park it.I just leave the reverse engaged. It's not going anywhere.A few riders have asked to try the bike while it's parked like this.I toss them the keys and none of them have been able figure out how to start it.Too many buttons!Lol.

The trunk of a Burgman 650 can easily hold bolt cutters and an angle grinder.

And a laptop. You'll want to track the weather. Oh, and a pie plate for dessert, might get peckish on the long haul.

i've yet to hear of any naked bikes being stolen

I liked this exchange in the comments:

<bammerburn> Also, see: streetfightered SuperSports. Missing fairings, yet still boasting mighty engines and superior suspension setups. Thieves shy away from streetfightered bikes because of the possible reliance factor (crashed, questionable-condition look), and the obviously-missing fairings. Been street- and carport-parking my streetfightered 2004 Ninja ZX-6R in a city and nobody has messed with it.

<NOCHnoch> Where exactly? If you can provide times you leave it alone as well as an address that’d be great, thanks.

<bammerburn> I’m usually out during the workday and it’s parked at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC – a tiny bit of security but should be easy enough to get through.

<NOCHnoch> thx bro i’ll be the guy in the black and white striped shirt and mask that only covers around my eyes.

:lmao:
