Check out US websits if you can. Ridersdiscount and SBTG would be able to give you a better deal. You don't have to pay for shipping with RD, only a $7.25 brokerage fee. Shipping is fast, I got it in a week and half.

Thanks, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of it not being the right fit

I don't think GP bikes have them in stock... they only have the regular black tinted ones. And for online shops like ridersdiscount, they are listed as out of stock.

We can do that Linky, just let me know.

Got mine from Burlington Cycles, special order, they get in within a few days. Love it, I am amazed at the rate of tint change going from clear to dark, then back to clear again based on changing light conditions. Fits both the Bell Star and Vortex perfectly.

It looks like these are made by wiki helmets,
http://wikihelmets.com/shields/purchase/

They list shields for other makes of helmets besides bell and their own

I have always liked the design on the aloha helmet

It'll be the right fit, there's only one and it says the helmets it fits.

also, good choice! the photochromatic lense is WICKED. I asked here on GTA and got a bunch of MEH answers from people that said it would suck. lolz to them I guess.

bought it... WOW. from clear to dark smoke in a few seconds. no need to every swap sheilds.

the only draw back is cloudy days when it transitions anyways...

got mine on ebay, here in a week and cheaper than SBTG or any local shop.

I need mine for touring. I don;t want to carry an extra shield. Plus it will be good for everyday riding. Sometimes I get to work in the day and come out at night, so that should be handy.

I ride with my tinted visor on cloudy days so that shouldnt matter. I will try calling around when I get the chance.

I have one and love it! Got it from that same site, arrived in 2 days, no duty, but the mail man left it on my grit stoop. No signature required... Great product. Only for bells!

I guess I am getting mine's online. I should've followed Linky's advice.

I got there to GP bikes, was told to wait. Went to another attendant, was told to wait again. Someone who offered to help, disappeared and end up helping somebody else. Normally, I am a reasonable person, but they clearly was not able to help me. Luckily I needed to pick up a riveter at Royal, or else I would've seriously regretted my trip there.

Instead of driving back there, I just ordered online, oh well...

You're gonna love it. Best visor on the market

Beats changing visors for sure.

I hope the optical clarity is good.

When you get it on Monday or Tuesday you will see the quality ;)

So I received my helmet today. Pretty impressive with the speed of shipping. Less than 2wks.

Rode to work in it. Going from a premium helmet to a budget one, I see a major difference, lol. I kinda regret not getting a higher end helmet now. I got a budget helmet so I can leave it hanging on my bike and I can bang around and not worry about it. The wind noise is so loud, even tho the reviews say otherwise.

Everything else on the helmet is great tho, the paint and the venting mechanisms work with a snap.

As for the Transition visor, it works well in the sun, it changes colour as it is supposed to; without affecting optical clarity.

I guess I will have to find out how it works at night, tonight.
