Anyone using MyRoute.app?

I’ve been playing around with MyRoute.app lately, trying to find something that works well for GPS navigation on the Ural.

So far, it seems to tick a lot of the boxes I’m looking for:

  1. Offline mode – You can download an Ontario map. This is handy since I have an old cellphone with no SIM that I use on the Ural as a dedicated GPS.
  2. Actually finds local addresses – Which seems like it should be a basic thing, but apparently isn’t always! 😂
  3. Motorcycle-specific options – Has some routing options specifically for motorcycles.
  4. Easy route creation – Seems pretty straightforward to create a route in one step, with options to adjust it.
  5. Reasonably priced – There are a few different payment options, which is nice.
I’m still figuring it out, so I figured I’d ask here.

Anyone here using MyRoute.app?

Any tips, tricks, settings, or things I should know about? Especially anything that might be useful for general riding or backroad exploring.

I've been using it for years and prior to that was using it's predecessor Tyre.

Here's a thread I posted on it a few years back and let me know if you have any specific questions.

I've been using the free version for a few years and it's simple to use for what I want, which is currently plot a route, and quickly transfer it it my GPS. Previously I was using Tyre (also great) and before that it was MapSource from Garmin.

I just got an email offering the Lifetime Gold subscription for $99 and am debating buying it. Looks pretty cool for those who like to really tour with the ability to overlay many different mapping layers and streetviews all the while planning routes. Might be...

Awesome to hear. My plan is to use it as a GPS first, then maybe somevery light route planning.
