Yes, I guess that's what I'm saying. I like to keep the kms low.
No offense intended, but why even have it if you are afraid to use it much?

I'm the opposite, I like to enjoy my bike as much as possible.
The roads are in pretty bad the year in the west end, so I'd expect damage. Salt isn't the concern. Lots of mud, gravel and sand, some of it quite layered. It's construction debris, essentially, not the fine stuff that melts out of snow. You wouldn't believe the strings of potholes that riddle the asphalt here. Some would be a challenge for a Jeep.
Ok, I can get my niece to show you how. I'll see her tomorrow at pre-school.

When I had a street bike I wouldn't ride it unti the salt was washed away. It would get mistaken for a new bike but it was a 2004 with 30,000km (low km I know) but some of the 3 year old bikes I see look like they we're given to a 4 year old to play with.
Went for another ride around today, had a little mishap with my charging system yesterday which left me stranded for about 10 minutes until I got it running good enough to get home, fixed it up, and got in another half hour today before the sub-zero temperatures come this week again! Charging issues all fixed and bike is running like a champ.... it's much faster than I am! Have to remind myself to slow down constantly....
Appreciate the regular updates. Thinking on your feet, Big cojones, all good. I used to ride a bike I could fix with a well placed rock. Now, sadly, I ride in good weather with a CAA card strapped to my @ss. Ever heard of Trevor Ware, When Were You Young?
haha the looks people give you when you're on a motorcycle in -2c are priceless!
I stayed on mostly straight, dry roads today though. I have not heard of Trevor Ware... I am a newbie but I'm not that young, will be 32 this year!![]()
Well then you should Google Trevor Ware When Were You Young awesome video.

Without evening looking at your bike, i would never come close to it, only because of the 30,000 kms. Nothing to do with salt.
yea...and people like me will come in and scoop up the deals.
Its a joke you guys consider 30k to be so much on these modern machines, I've got a 09 250 with 75k km and it still starts up first time every time and pulls like it always has...
wtf exactly do you think happens to a bike after 20k km, given its been serviced and relatively been taken care of??
