Any Shoei/Arai helmets on sale?

Prior to seeing the RPHA 10's and trying them on, I always saw HJC's within the lower end spectrum of helmets. After I tried it on last week at GP, i'm sold. I think it will be my 'beater' helmet simply for reasons of comfort. Interesting that the RPHA is the most comfortable out of all your collection. Thanks for the heads up.

And i'm trying to get a row of helmets just like yours eventually ;)

I bought that RPHA 10 spur of the moment because I couldn't get my Pista for that last track day I did and having used it now a few times, I actually really really like it. I find it to be extremely comfortable.

The last time I bought an HJC was back in 2001 and it was pretty crappy. However, this new one is night and day compared to my old HJC.
It's better than the AGV K3 (that K3 dreamtime I have has never been worn. I actually had Rossi sign it a few months back at the MotoGP in Indy. You can kinda see the signature on the Circle in the pic I posted) and to tell you the truth... it's a bit more comfortable than the Pista GP.

Out of the collection of helmets I have, I would actually rate that RPHA10 the most comfortable helmet of the bunch.

I think the next helmet I plan on purchasing is the Shoei X-12 Marquez Replica.
My goal is to get Lorenzo and Marquez to sign those helmets at the MotoGP in Indy next year and then I can retire them on my shelf with the K3 Dreamtime.

I get that a lot... that or a Storm Trooper.

The Simpson is my street beater helmet.

Here's another thumbs up for the RPHA-10. This is my third season with the helmet and as a previous Arai only wearer I can confidently say I will not go back. Plain and simple there is not one negative I can find with the RPHA-10 well other then the HJC and people views of helmets from that manufacturer. However the new one does not even say HJC on it.

The only complaint I have about my rps-10 is the ventilation isn't as good as the arai's or my new shark but for the price it's a great helmet.

I wasn't aware that the RPHA 10's have been around for 3 years. And with all these positive reviews, I might just bite the bullet and get the helmet. $350 all in is quite the value for that much helmet. Loving the R logo as well.

interesting...and that's the predecessor to the RPHA 10s...wondering if they've improved on it.

The only difference I've found between RPS-10 and RPHA-10, other than graphics, is a redesigned chin vent. Perhaps it is an improvement. Each lid, incidentally, uses the same visor, style number HJ-20.

By the way, two new graphics added to Parts Canada's 2014 catalogue:

I just ordered a rf1100 from gp. $499 shipped to my house

I am starting to regret my choice, $500 is pricey, is it justifiable tho?

Guys plz talk me into not feeling guilty for buying a $500 helmet :(

Brain surgeries and being unable to remember if you're wearing pants or not is more expensive in the long run.

Ask hockey players and boxers for an opinion on blows to the head.

It was the top of my head that got overheated, this was while racing in the hottest days of the summer.

Another good helmet...according to reveiws is a Bell Rs1...probably pick one up next bike show or the RPHA-10

should have bought the GT air for that price, $516 out the door today @ gpbikes solid red colour

Seriously, I think they are great investment. That's why I used over $500 to buy the GT Air this time. I crave for the internal sun visor and included pinlock shield from the GT Air. The RF1100 that I got dont have either of those. Once I go Shoei, can never go back. I actually think the RF1100 is more comfortable, easy slip in and out. The GT Air makes my ears flipped each time I put them on.

I wonder if these fancy helmets smell like petrochemical factories from all the outgassing. I'd be more likely to trust a Japanese or European manufactured helmet than a Chinese one.

Like a Shoei? Mine never smelled at all when I got it.
