american chopper sport bike build

I am not sure what it is but it's not a sports bike. Why spend serious coin to have these guys built a bike when something better is already on the show room floor.

I don't get it and that makes me very happy.

My thoughts exactly!

They're doing another build off. Senior vs Junior vs Jesse James vs Guys from fast and loud.

Have never seen fast and loud so i don't know what they're all about....but they have the same stuff to say about OCC as most of the comments here lol

They call it a sports bike but its a "sporty" chopper, the only reason the show got any headway was the fighting between sr. and jr. No idea why its still around after that came to an end.

I liked build or bust, was always fun watching those guys put the pressure on the guy that thinks he knows whats to be done.

Looks like a sports car... handles like a bus...
Don't like the overall design, but appreciate the work in it.

Thats not even the bike he's talking about, they are redoing a yamaha R1, that bike is from way back in the show.

This looks like R1 bodywork to me.

Did they get the LCD from a cash register?

When I was working on my first bike, 72 Bonneville, I used to buy any old chopper/custom magazines that I could get my hands on. In the olden (pre-internet) days, people depended on books and such for information and Haynes and workshop manuals only get you so far. There was no Triumph dealership, Firths was gone, and when you ordered parts you really had to know what you needed. There was a tremendous amount of information in those mags. Those builders were welding their own frames, boring and stroking engines, relacing tires with rims that had no business on a bike, and rattlecan painting them to show standards. Sometimes they did it with help, sometimes not. Then they rode the snot out of them. You can still see some of that artistry in some of the custom bikes at some of the shows. Those guys are chopper builders.

Watched the show, not sure these bikes are in the same class.

What the ''F'' is wrong with Jr. Right after they start talking again, he enters right back into business with the guy who just sued him???????????

I've seen idiots before.

Unless he's going to stick it to his father in the end.
Maybe he has a deep dark plan.
