What interesting things have you been up to lately?

Post it up...pictures, videos etc....

My 1st contribution to this thread:

I did some bonding with my 18 year old...

We took the GO Train downtown and jumped onto a tall ship for a cruise around Toronto Harbour.

I love that last shot. That looks like a fun thing to do but I'm trying to keep my vomit free record and I don't get along too well with boats.

Thanks redridernl, that was one of the best pictures of the tour. That was some cool "4x4ing" EngineerJoe.

Can a moderator please move this thread to romper room as I neglected to read the "fine print" - motorcycle related only.

Thanks

Thanks SeaBreez.

LMAO! That's crazy.... How many Jeeps have you wrecked?
Depends on how you define "wrecked". I drove that Jeep home later that day, but took the bike into work today. Most of the damage done to that Jeep is cosmetic, but there has been some powertrain damage.

Nice pics.Moved to rr.

This weekend I did a 5k run, a 50k mountain bike ride, a picnic at the beach, a funeral in my hometown, Shakespeare in the Park and a soccer game..I could use a nap... AND the caffeine vendor downstairs is away this week!! Arrggghhh....

Thanks SeaBreez.

Yup. That'd be 'wrecked' :laughing8:

I worked on my ****** car for 2 days and then went to Wasaga yesterday

My weekend...

Chilled with friends in Toronto on Saturday;
Hosted my in-laws on Sunday,
And rode to Tobermory and back on Monday.

No wonder I'm tired afterwards...

The only picture from the ride is unflattering and it looks like we both have beer guts, so we'll spare you all.

Been bombing around on my rollerblades...

Near Port Union and Lawrence Ave. E by Lake Ontario.

Pretty sure I was supposed to go to that with my "club" but, I had a provincial race weekend so had other priorities... In fact, I would be at the track right now but blew out the rear shock... Here's a couple typical weekends for me:
Offroading:

Racing:

With the threat of rain - we stayed inToronto today.

We left Port Union and 401 and headed down Hwy 2. (Kingston Rd.) to Kew Beach.

On our way to Polson Pier we got delayed by the Acura Toronto 10-Miler & 5k Run.

At Polson Pier we got a great view of Toronto's Sky Line (Cirque du Soleil is playing across the street).

We then continued on to St. Lawrence Antique Market.

We made it back home before the rain...what a great way to spend Sunday!

Nice tread Seabreez loving the pics and vids of peoples adventures.

Just another day...

Seems my video was blocked by EMI (Pink Floyd)...

The wind blew a few branches into my back yard - broke the fence a bit. Let the clean up begin....

If some of you have been watching some of my other threads you might know the Skydiving adventure is on Aug 27th. Noon.
http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum...mer-are-you-in

I'm interested in organizing a ride from the GTA to Skydive Burnaby. There are 4 confirmed Skydivers as of today.

The ride would be all day with local riding at Wainfleet (Skydive Burnaby).
http://skydiveburnaby.com/about-the-...m-toronto.html

I'm looking to have several meeting points along the way, such as Scarborough, Pearson, Oakville Ford Plant, Hamilton etc. Leaders and sweepers and others knowing the area from Mississauga to Wainfleet are welcomed to ride or pass on suggestions - routes, places to see and places to eat?

It would be awesome if a local rider(s) can take the group of non Skydivers on a tour of the area, while we jump from the plane?

We will need to find a place to eat after the jump, can anyone make any suggestions for local dining?

Looking forward to jumping out of a plane and having a great ride to boot.

Saturday Aug 27th 2011

I met with 2 other riders in Mississauga, who joined my wife and son (in our suv) to go Skydiving. We travelled to Wainfleet on the Niagara Peninsula. There the four of us did a tandem jump!

I can't believe I jumped out of a plane!

After Skydiving we travelled the backroads to Port Credit.

Where we stopped for dinner on a roof top patio.
