2014 gsx-r 1000 se

They got the blue and white one right for 2013. Looks way better than an off color for the nose. Too bad they put a red stripe down the side of it

Why doesn't it have projector lights? Even 04 has one

While I agree with what you're saying, what's to say that the motorcycle market doesn't shift like the car market does with electronic aids? Nearly every car has some form of traction control and abs now compared to the early 90s.

EDIT: I forgot to add my point lol

As it currently stands, bikes are engineered to operate better without a rider actually on it (if we put a computer on it to control the brake, accelerator, etc., it would probably out ride every human due to how motorcycle aerodynamics are designed). What's to say that a bike with electronic aids isn't to minimize interference from the rider? A few of the most common rider input mistakes are chopping the throttle, grabbing too much brake, and counter leaning or staying straight with the bike through a turn. While I would probably end up stroking my e-peen and telling anyone with aids that prevents the above "back in the day...", it would prevent A LOT of common solo accidents.

Looking at F1, we've already seen driver aids come and removed from the F1 cars due to unhappy, unsatisfied fans of the sport. Motorcycle racing will be no different. IMO, Suzuki is banking on this and letting other co's waste their money chasing electronic gadgetry. History does repeat itself.

One rider aid that should be in place and would be relatively cheap and incredibly effective is a rotating Hans type neck / collarbone protector. The majority of accidents result in broken collarbones, so there is an obvious need.

They will be forced into most of these thing by governments in short order. the less is more bs is just covering the bs that they haven't bothered with r and d. Suzuki's are the harley of the sport bike world right now.

Actually, Honda's are. Johnny Rae is living proof of this. Have never seen a racer squeeze the last drop out of a bike as him.

Suzuki is doing quite well in the AMA, once again, their target market - America. They are doing better than BMW without the electronics of the S1000R. What does this say for BMW?

F1 has already proven that fans don't want electronics driving race cars. Motorcycles are no different, and perhaps even more-so due to the drastic difference in individual riding skills of different racers.
