2017 Triumph streetcup original exhaust -free

When the bike had 500kms on it, I upgraded the exhaust but I still have the original in a box. If you want it, it is yours.

Jan motorcycle show, plan on going?

Terrible show unless you are a HD fan, most of the bikes on display were HD bikes, 30% of the vendors have nothing to do with the hobby and too many people. Save your money.

    Quick Shifter - Thoughts?

For me a bike without a quick shifter would be a deal breaker. When people say you can shift as fast manually, that is not really true, recently, one of the WSBK riders lost his quickshifter halfway through the race and that cost him 3 seconds per lap (he ended up retiring the bike because of...

    New 1390 superduke...

Good luck getting that bike insured. I had an impossible time getting a 1100cc insured for less than $1500 a year.

    Ducati vs Ktm part prices

The price is not the issue, the availability is the issue, KMS is terrible, months waiting for parts, Ducati, usually less than 10 days. Unless it is from the Ducati performance store, then it could be months.

    Aprilia owners

One was a 2023 Superduke with two cracked mirrors due to vibrations and a couple of broken screws. He was told the part would be in sometime at the end of July or beginning of August. The other bike was 5 year old 790 (I believe) with a broken exhaust holder and that part would be in sometime in...

    Aprilia owners

Look into the parts' availability from KTM, 2 separate people this weekend told me that they are waiting months for parts and oil chances can be weeks waiting.

    Pfaff Ducati in Vaughan?

I have been to the Ducati Flagship dealership in Montreal and I was told at the time that Ducati was looking for a similar setup in Toronto, this could be it but it would require a new building. The Montreal location is just amazing, also some of the friendliest staff I ever dealt with, I got a...

    Aprilia owners

I have owned two Aprilia Tuono's in the last 10 years. In 2012, I purchased a 2012 Tuono with 400kms on it, I put on it 25k kms and I had an issue with the Stator (known issue at the time, a redesigned part fixed the issue) and with the rectifier (back then it was installed in the front of the...

    Evo's New Ride - 2023 Edition

No, the engine, swing arm and forks were on it, the rear wheel was off. I am sure it was your bike. Are you getting an under the tail exhaust? I should have taken a photo.

    Evo's New Ride - 2023 Edition

Are you getting an exhaust installed? If so, I saw your bike completely apart today. Basically the engine, front forks and rear swing arm, even the wheels were off. Greg was working on it. I dropped off my bike for its 1st service.

    MotoGP Portimão

It has been years since my last MotoGP race live so this was a trip I have been really looking forward to, and I am not disappointed. Amazing weather, great crowds and 1000s of bikes.

Motorcycle Supershow - International Center - Jan 6-8

It is the Harley show. If you are not into Harleys then don't go. Also 20% of the vendors have nothing to do with motorcycles. One was selling windows for your home. Too many people and almost no dealers and very few places dealing in gear unless you are looking for vests. To me, it was a...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Installed a new pair of shoes on my bike. It made a very noticeable difference, the braking is amazing and switching directions is noticeably easier.

First time buying a new motorcycle from a dealership.

Take the bike to the dealer for the 1st service, why chance having a warranty claim denied to save a few $$$? Plus, many of the brands, including Triumph will have a service light on to remind you the service is due, only the dealer can reset it, you cannot do it through the dash options.
