Well, it is official! The new 2025 Yamaha R9 got unveiled today. I had a MT09 street bike for a while and loved the motor on it, wishing it would make its way to a supersport someday. Looks like that day has come! It uses the same CP3 motor that Yamaha has been using in the FZ/MT09, XSR900...

Had 2 trackdays booked, first was a complete write off but luckily was able to get out for a few sessions on the second day. The mixed conditions made me more nervous & cautious but overall still a fun day.

Question: Is the catalytic converter (Euro 5) from 2020+ R1 (RN65) worth anything in terms of precious metals? I know there was a period where car cats were worth quite a bit. I have 2 of these boxes and curious of their worth.
