some fz6 rider in the US reported 30,000+ MILES (48,000 kms) on stock chain and sprockets in another forum. your 27,000 km is nothing.

dirty chain also wears out the sprockets faster... some people enjoy taking care of their bikes. a 5 min chain clean jobs is pretty easy.

couldn't find it local to i bought off ebay. after currency conversion and shipping it came to $25. :D
