Buy a shredder AKA Scam minimizer

Shred any piece of paper that has your name or any personal info on it. Yeah I'm paranoid. We seem to be preoccupied with Nigerian scams but what if the punk down the street wants a bit of your money? He, or it could be a she, builds a file on you, picking up info whenever they can. You toss...

    Gated driveway pics only

When my brother was working on his driver's license and the test facility was at 401 and Keele he and his instructor stopped by on a Saturday and walked the course. A security guard came out and told them it was off limits. "Didn't you see the gate?" My Bro: Yeah but there's no fence. They left.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I have a PT fence to stain and I own a HVLP spray gun. There's nothing nearby to be affected by over spray. Worth a try.

    Gated driveway pics only

What's the point of a gate when there's no fence on either side of it? It's a car filter.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Yup but I was wondering how far they expected people to walk to the box. Some would drive if it was 50 feet. I don't know if boxes in commercial plazas would work. More walk in traffic or nuisance?

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

What's p***ing me of are the service costs with ICE. How much of a dealership's profits come from new car sales, used car sales and service? Service is a con game of "Protecting your investment" and minor service items at major prices. They wanted to charge mega bucks to change my cabin air...

    VPN question?

My shady B-I-L used proton as he felt it was the most secure. Considering his stature in life and his sleazy cons it's probably good for him. Obviously legit people need security as well.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Addresses with postal codes beginning with M9V and M9W, an area roughly stretching east from Hwy. 427 to the Humber River, and from Steeles Ave. W. south to Hwy. 401, will see their door-to-door mail delivery replaced with community mailboxes

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Echoing Dirty Franks comment about politics: I there anything annoying that doesn't have its roots with corrupt or inept politicians? Toronto will have a similar problem. Inept politicians with no foresight let a problem fester to the point where modest means can no longer treat the situation...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Make the box location the pit stop for your dog. If you have to put up with their s*** they have to put up with your pup's. FWIW A friend saw that they were going to put a busy bus stop in front of his house, made a fuss ad got it moved a couple of lots away. Research it before someone else...

    Impaired Driving Penalty Changes

Going back to the original post: Ford is conservative but how many judges etc are Liberal? If a Liberal judge feels the mandatory penalty is too severe they may find the DUI not guilty to circumvent the issue thus making the situation worse. How many uninsured drivers get the full hit of the...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Is there a housing shortage or a shortage of personal money to buy a house? The issues, consumerized brain washing, entitlement, education, psychology, expectations etc are too large to fit on this forum but are being debated on the equivalent of bumper stickers.
