Made it up to Haliburton yesterday. Temps were a bit cold at 6c up on the 118 but it was clean. 507 is clean but the north end is rough. Dyno Rd is all sand so avoid for a while.
Stopped at Flynn’s to warm up but it was too windy so I followed the river from Lakefield to Peterborough where temps...
Tapo ones are pretty good as well (I've used the C460 kit as well as the 2K one). The solar panel easily keeps them charged with minimal sunlight and the spotlight is pretty bright.
You're welcome to use mine if I'm closer. I'm not going to offer to do it as I'd create a much larger burn hole because I suck at it. It is a handy thing to have around (used it again last week to repair a CTEK battery clamp that broke).
I learned clutchless upshifts/downshifts by riding my YZ50 dirtbike 1-handed with two Labatt's Blue in the other hand (to deliver to the adults working in the woods). Benefits of growing up on a farm.
As others have stated soaking it and then some goo-gone should clean it up fine after some gentle scraping (if needed),
Sounds like as great place to put a Klim sticker ;)
That reminds me I should check the connections on my 300. I packed them with grease as soon as I took delivery of it but it's been 8yrs since I looked at them. Another bonus of a basic carbed bike is I only have like 6 electrical connections.
Agreed, I went to that show quite often and the reason I would go to any bike meetup is to see older/obscure bikes. I don't go to many bike meetups as frankly I'd rather be riding instead of standing around.
I'll ride with a small handful of people and don't do group rides.
KEXP has done a lot to help many previously unknown artists and has some amazing sessions. The Lumineers did a wonderful set before they made it big ("Ain't Nobody's Problem But My Own" and "Boots Of Spanish Leather" covers as well as "Submarines" are excellent examples).
Tomorrow afternoon is looking like riding weather so I prepped both bikes for a ride.
Also put the summer tires back on one of the cars and did a front brake job on it at the same time.
Note - I did NOT put the snowblower away as doing that plus installing summer tires would surely trigger a...
I would recommend using some rubber flooring (horse stall mats from Co-Op or others work well) instead of the foam mats. Foam just doesn't hold up well and it's not as nice to walk on while exercising (it's always a bit squishy and just meh).
I feel like if I needed something to do to stay "useful" I could be that worker at HD that strolls around giving advice on what to buy and how to install it. In the same way I'd work the parts counter at a bike shop but I also don't have much of a filter so I'd probably get fired within a month.
