The coast can be/is moist... the interior, not so much. I have connections to the Okanagan Valley... summer is long, dry and hot. The winter... not too harsh at all. IIRC precipitation levels meet the criteria to be considera desert.

Let me tell you about the stove and oven... I mean "ovens" The new kitchen was a pre-retirement gift I "let" Mrs. Gaoler get... (as if I had any say/veto in the matter) I'm okay with it though... If a woman's place is in the kitchen... 'Might as well be a nice one.

We have one of these.... Built into our recent-ish kitchen renovation. I sh it my pants when I found out how much it cost, but I'm the one in the house that uses it the most... lol. Mrs. Gaoler keeps it loaded with fresh beans. All I do is put my cup under the spigot and push a button...

Agreed, but... The problem is there are (or is it "is"..?) no such thing as ear buds you can wear for a decent length of time before they start to hurt. 'At least not enough time for me, so I wear 'em until they ache them i take 'em out for a while. Rinse, repeat.

There are more injuries in sports ball activities than shooting sports. If you want to get a good idea on the safety record of shooting sports... ask anyone involved about insurance rates for gun clubs and events...

You nailed it. On paper they can say they've saved us all. That said... 'Just got home from shooting an IPSC match. Lots of bang bang and again... no one got hurt.

I think by now it's quite apparent that our political class isn't personally responsible for anything they do. I'm cautiously optimistic that in the end, this iteration of the government's fetish with gun control will fail loudly. With the already registered restricted firearms, we're f###ed...
