    Just tipped it up on its front to replace a broken spring and noticed that the auger box welds are going where it attaches to the middle section 2nd stage. Nah, it's done.

    Never had a problem with the 10.5 motor. 30 years old. It's solid, but lots of rust. Broken springs, cables.

    Ok. My guess is that it has something to do with the change to 2 into 1. All the other RE 650s use twin pipes the same metal finish.

    He attached a hang glider to a Honda and rode it off the Hamilton "mountain". Hospital. He also used to ride his little moped from Hamilton to Arthur with all his skydive gear on.
