I've a Givi windscreen, it helped a lot, and the factory handguards. But the wind still blows to the sides and over the bars quite a bit. Plus the bike is so light and the higher stance makes it sail like, which a lot of people mention on StromTrooper.

I've always been interested in a ADV bike, and well the vStrom is also known to be bullet proof, seemed like a good fit. I like it, and for a smaller displacement it does very well. But I do miss my HD, it had better wind protection, which I didn't realize until I switched bikes, and was good on...

Lol - funny enough I was thinking of doing something like that, maybe renting a room out to a student or something. HD - will have an update on that hopefully this year.

And the mystery continues... I received another package yesterday. I didn't order anything and it's not the same size as the replacement items. But it was ficking heavy. I think it's dresser this time. Different name, doesn't match the other package name, but my address. So strange.

I have a feeling this snow storm is going to be another non event, like what happened last year. At least in Toronto. We'll soon find out.

Hmmm how did I miss this post. We use to go to crystal beach as a kid, and park. Been through that area now as a adult on the bike. Honestly I barely remember it, but the area seems much different with the amusement park gone, also lots of new development.

Agree, it's really odd. Which is why I suspect it's UPS fault. I know yesterday it was snowing a bit. Kinda feel like they didn't want to deal with it. Same with the mystery package. I was actually outside cleaning up the driveway when the driver approached me with the package. I refused it...

Update: Called in again, annnnnd got a complete idiot on the phone. I'm usually nice to start off. But this agent was a complete douche from the get go. Kept over talking when I tried to respond, no courtesy etc, only option was refund and I could purchase again. They even told me I could buy...

Shipped by Amazon, apparently has to be by UPS, because it's oversized. I did ask if they could use another shipper, not possible. Also for them to make sure it's shipped to the correct address... here we are.
