Hey guys,
I'm moving to Barrie soon and I'm just wondering what I should be looking at for travel time to work everyday.
I have to be at work by 7am, monday to friday and i would leave work sometime between 6pm and 8pm.
Starting from barrie, taking the 400 until the 401, then dvp to lakeshore...

Do you guys think 2003 is too old of a bike? or a fair price if it is clean and looks maintained?
I already told him he has to safety it and...
Bought the bike used, never loved the colour....never liked the naked style.....it just didn't feel like "my" bike if that makes sense. But it was what i could afford insurance wise until I hit 25.
So I just sold my first motorcycle, 2007 fz6. Learned to ride on her and just watched her get trailer'd away....ahh it's pretty emotional!
Drinking a few beers now deciding on what new bike to purchase, I'm thinking CBR650F....thoughts?
No details, and he said nothing will be happening until atleast May. But we're talking about insurance here....when has any change been for the better :(
Fingers crossed though!
Just a heads up....spoke to my SF rep yesterday and he mentioned they will be changing how their rates are determined soon.....it won't be based on CC alone. This is because of the Dejardins takeover.
They always have to ruin a good thing!
Bike will be purchased outright, but I agree with you guys on the collision....$142 a month is still much cheaper then I've been paying for the last 3 years as a under 25yr old rider anyway :)
Hey guys,
Just wondering your thoughts...I'm looking at picking up a brand new FZ09 and wondering if I should get collision?
I've only ever had liability + fire/theft and comprehensive on my other bikes..
Price difference is $142 a month for full coverage or $124 for no collision.
What does...
Hey guys, I have a XL textile jacket in almost brand new condition....it has sat in my closet for 2 years since i use my leather.
If someone wants to swing by Milton and grab it go for it....free for a new rider!

I don't think a 1000cc sport bike should even be made for the street (but that is an entire different arguement). I wouldn't be taking a 300 on country long tourers in the rain anyway or really even on hwys for riding, hwy riding is boring and no fun. I'd get a cruiser for that!
Thanks for the response! I'm not into hwy riding for this bike anyway, if I want to go on the HWY for long distance, I would get a cruiser. Have you had a passenger at all yet, any experience?
Fair enough, I don't use my bike to commute its only a weekend warrior. 9/10 times I only go on the hwy to pickup my GF if she wants to come with, all my riding is back country roads and nothing in the city.
I think I am sold on this 300ninja idea. I would much rather be shifting and high revving the bike around the countryside / twists then going mach 8 in a straight line (although that is fun). When I want to go that fast i'll rent a track bike and do a track day, you can't lose your license that...
