You want me to say "Brampton"? I already did. Given my experiences with Lexus drivers, and the many videos I've seen of them doing wrong, I stand by my statement.

I was thinking it was Bovaird, but couldn't place any landmarks. The dealership where I bought my last 3 cars is in that area.

A car that is parked on a public street, with no visible license plate, can be deemed to have been "abandoned." Do you know what they do with abandoned cars? ;)

Now they need to deal with motorcycles that have no plate at all.

About damned time. Technically speaking the plate surrounds that dealerships give you are also illegal, however, you can at least see enough of the plate with those to get the number.

If the 17 year old's G1 was suspended then there is no valid charge for driving without a properly licensed driver. It's just unlicensed operation.

I'm thinking that the suspension applies to the "unqualified driver", who would be the 31 year old owner of the car.

We're getting both, in Brampton. My take on speed bumps: If you're putting them in then you need to adjust the speed of the road to match the speed at which you can safely take the bumps. You don't put in big honking bumps and leave the speed at 40Kmh, because then people's cars will be damaged...

I just love it when idiots find each other, leaving the rest of the public safe.

A little math. According to that article Windsor is planning on doubling their number of speed cameras from 10 to 20. Brampton, with a population about 3.1x as big, would be expected to have about 63 cameras if the ratio held. We have 150, with a total 0f 185 projected by the end of summer...

I just tried it and it's almost that simple. I opened Waze and then closed it again. Went to my car and started it up. Android Auto defaulted to Google Maps but, after few seconds, a notification came up saying that Waze was available. Tapped on it and it switched to Waze.

Waze does, but I've not seen any of the Brampton cameras on Google Maps. I'll ned to see if I can change the default navigation app in Android Auto.

I got a photo notification in the mail. Rather ironically (in the Alanis sense that it sucks, not the real sense) I found it in the mailbox immediately after coming back from from the same trip I made when the picture was taken, the week before.

Especially if they change the rules. Note that I was a whole 1 Kmh over what the reasonable limit would be, given signage I passed before going north on the same road. The last thing I saw, before making that turn, was 50 Kmh (40 Kmh when flashing).
