What's your most neglected maintenance item on your motorcycle?

Great topic. Coolant change, and fork oil. Spark plugs (have a new set sitting for two years)

    A Ride to Whitehorse - 2025

That is awesome! Can’t wait for the pics and the story to fill up the spaces. Well done!

What's the one thing you always forget or wish you'd brought on long trip on 2 wheels?

I also carry a zip lock bag with inline fuses, various length of electric wires and posiloc electical connectors. I have had to use the inline fuse when I was on a 2 hour trip and 1/2 hour from home. The wires and other fuses I've been able to help other riders who were stranded. There are many...

    2025 GTA Photo Tag!

That is close to where I work. Never knew it existed and very interesting history. Nice tag!

    Aching Shoulders

That’s interesting. When I used to do long hours and mileage days I always took 2 ibuprofen before I went to bed and the next day I was ready again. I never took in the morning though. Will have to give that Costco Robax a go next time I’m headed for a long day.

BC Roads - What to ride, what to skip?

I never book either and have come upon some convention type happening in the middle of nowhereseville and moved on to the next town. The secret is to start looking at around 4 pm, then you have more options if the town is fully booked or only the luxury and roach motels are left. I take a tent...

River Rd (Horning's Mills) road closure

I try to avoid Airport Road as much as possible. It is busy and if you even only go 15 over the speed limit, you will be tailgated and passed. Too bad as there are some beautiful views between hwy9 and 89.

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

I think so too. It is smaller but glad (hopefully) they carried that characteristic.

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

This was my uncle’s watch from the 70s he swam with it in many oceans around the world. It didn’t survive an accidentally aimed garden hose in my back yard, which I didn’t realize until after a few hours. Luckily a watchmaker brought it back to life but I didn’t want to change the dial. I...

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

Does the arrow on top of the Rado name still rotate like the old Rado watches?

What's the one thing you always forget or wish you'd brought on long trip on 2 wheels?

Thermos type container for morning coffee and afternoon ice water hydration. For me way better than Camel type water bladders. Doesn’t have to be big

River Rd (Horning's Mills) road closure

This morning I rode from East to West and road closed sign at Centre Rd. Sign said bridge repairs. Still a fun ride though. I should have checked here first.

    2025 GTA Photo Tag!

It was such a perfect morning. I was thinking of heading that way, to pick up the tag, glad I didn’t. I went to Terra Nova. River road closed for bridge repairs 1/2 way. Turned back still a good 3 hr ride.

What did you do in your garage today..?

That bolt in the upper left side of the pic, looks too small for that larger opening. Is that temporary?

    Career change

What things do you love to do? Well ones that you might make a living from? If you can do it part time to learn more of the business side of things while doing what you are doing now for income. I’ve changed careers 3 times and each one very different, only 1 was not by choice. As you list...
