Went up to River Road and Terra Nova this weekend. There are signs up showing between June 23rd and September 18th a portion between Sideroad 15 and Centre Rd will be closed for Bridge work. Other than that the road is excellent and mostly clean, just some gravel on a few of the turns where dirt roads connect.

I saw that sign a few weeks ago and meant to post. You will still be able to use the portion of River Road between Prince of Wales and Morning's Mills.

This morning I rode from East to West and road closed sign at Centre Rd. Sign said bridge repairs. Still a fun ride though.
I should have checked here first.

I saw 6 or cop cars had a bunch of vehicles pulled over on the start of river road a couple days ago.

Just west of airport road

Probably catching speeders on airport road

I try to avoid Airport Road as much as possible. It is busy and if you even only go 15 over the speed limit, you will be tailgated and passed. Too bad as there are some beautiful views between hwy9 and 89.

You have to pick and choose the time and the days you ride Airport Road. I usually just use Airport Road to get between the east/west roads that I find fun to ride. It typically moves at 15 to 20 over and experiences extreme traffic volumes on Friday evenings northbound and Sunday afternoons in the southbound direction. I ride it on weekdays and it's not too bad. You should still keep it below 20 over as it's usually heavily patrolled because of the extreme speeding and collisions that occur on this road as the result of aggressive driving by those who left too late.

By the way, Sideroad 25 through Honeywood is a nice alternative to River Road during this closure.
