Can I take my supermoto to any trackday?

Not all trackdays are posted - the TMP August 13 - 14 session was not posted (amongst many). You should look up each track you`re interested in. Re supermoto - just pass the tech and have the right gear and you`re good to go. Donald (a GWB guy) brings his Magna out - leather bags and all. I...

    TMP August 13, 14

PM sent - I was the blue rolling chicane!! Great day - only 18 bikes so it was open track - no silliness - all clean good passing (I really noticed as I was being passed a lot:rolleyes:). 8 bikes down though I was told, and 3 quite bad ones where the bike was not rideable.....don't know why...

Recommendation on transport vehicle (van, cargo van, etc.) to move motorcycle around?.

Why not just rent a 5 by 8 enclosed u haul for $20 / day - I think the Asto can tow it. It's a bit of a PITA to organize the rental but the price can't be beat. I almost missed a trackday due to no avaialbilty - the chance you take. Is buying a large van cheaper than buying a trailer? As...

    White "Corona" Suzuki Lakeshore

GWS - odd to have a crashed bike and no rider around and no EMS. Maybe stolen? I take that southbound exit to the Lakeshore. The exit lane narrows and you have to know to keep to the right / curb side as there is a manhole cover that is deep / depressed into the roadway and if you are...

    9 year old passenger?....

The lack of proper gear is a problem. My policy is that any passenger has more or the same armour as I do. Here is a pic with Englishj and I taking a ride with our kids a few years back (my kid was 10). The kids were both with appropriate gear. Another pic with me and the kids at the ganny...

    Handles

Re: Handles.... I could never say "Gewurztraminer" yet alone spell it which is odd as it's my favourite, esp. the Alsace variety. I had to copy / paste the spelling from the internet.

    Handles

Can't recall if I replied to this thread - too long to check. Funrider came up as I alsways have fun when on my bike (also the mtn bike). When on two wheels I can't help but have fun. Even the day I lowsided at the track - the bike and I came out ok and still had what was probably one of my...

    Manslaughter for Passenger Fatality..

You seem to have info available that is not yet in the public domain. I didn't know there was a high speed pursuit at the time which makes your comment valid. I was under the impression the bike was going at a slow speed (maybe even pulling over?) and then the guy pinned it. Low speed launches...

    Manslaughter for Passenger Fatality..

Interesting point. I'd be interested to know the cause of death although I did read decapitation and dismemberment did occur BUT if the fall and taking off didn't kill the passenger but the following police car ran over the fallen rider (as has been surmised)...well, you can see where I'm...

Hey Kris - I did get it late this afternoon. I sent you an email - give me a shout 416.727.4879 to make some plans. I might go to the waterfront this evening to watch the sun set...give a call if you want to go. You're staying about 10-15 minutes from me.

    2011 Kawi Ninja 400R - It's Here...

At the beginning of this season my colleagues brother-in-law picked up a new in the crate '09 ZX-6R for $9,800 out the door. Yes, it was on sale, but if you have patience and look and maybe are willing to go with a 2nd choice colour....this makes the 400 seem really expensive. The EX500 I had...
