Why didn't you go for the 2 years now that it's free? That's what I did. Nothing changes at the MTO, the only difference is that you don't pay and you don't get stickers, but you have to report/renew as always.

Same with an acquiantence of mine, told me to help him, that his bike would shut off as soon as he tried to go. I went, grabbed his bike and it worked just fine. He didn't lift the leg of the bike up, it will start but it won't go if you leave it down.
