    Voom Motorcycle Insurance

What if you want to ride your sportbike on the weekend and your supermoto as a daily? Call your insurance company every week? It used to be $50 per year per extra bike back in the 80's and 90's as you can only ride one bike at a time. But they wiggled around it stating that anyone in your...

    Voom Motorcycle Insurance

Saw this on Ryan's latest F9 video as an ad at the end of the video. Seems like a great idea in theory...hopefully it, or something similar comes to Canada. And hopefully it addresses the owning of multiple motorcycles and paying full premiums for each...

    Belair Direct

Here's Belair Direct on Yelp. 70 one star reviews vs TD's 59 one star reviews: https://www.yelp.ca/biz/belairdirect-toronto So.... is there such a thing as a reputable insurance company in Ontario or are we all facing the same firing squad? Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

Agree. Here's TD Meloche Monnex: https://www.yelp.ca/biz/meloche-monnex-td-insurance-calgary I thought TD was better than this...I don't know why. Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

    Belair Direct

Thanks. The house insurance is half of what TD is asking...but the one star complaints are quite frightening and seem to be all the same trend of denying claims: https://g.co/kgs/wwpqRk Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

    Guitars

Best of luck to your nephew! I've been thinking lately how easy it is to learn now vs when I did by ear and trying to hold the damn tab book up. Some of these young female players are amazing! Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

Any of you have any feedback on this insurance company? Substantial savings with auto and house over TD...but that means nothing if the worst happens and they don't pay out. Any feedback would be appreciated. Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

    I hate colonoscopies

Gall bladder can be saved easily by a simple, but brutal procedure...depends on your level of tolerance. It's basically the prep for a colonoscopy. You drink an 8 oz glass of water with two tablespoons of Epsom Salts which cleans you out from mouth to the other end. That's what you're doing when...

    Tire Levy on a Battery?

Turns out many of you were correct. The website adds "Levy Charge", then shows you the levy charge in the form of a "tire levy" instead of core charge when ordering online. That's some stellar programming. The store is a mess...no one, not even the manager knew what a date code was. You could...

    Tire Levy on a Battery?

Thought it was a core charge until I read this. As you proceed through the billing it states "may be subject to levies"... then it shows you "Tire Levy" on your Place Order page. I will confirm tomorrow if it's a poorly written webpage, or an actual levy / Trudeau Tax...

New level of insanity or is this a Princess Auto error? $20 Tire Levy on a battery?

    I hate colonoscopies

Colonoscopies don't come without risk...including rupture to the colon. Oops. Don't be doing them unless you have a reason to be doing them...ie prone to polyps, colitis, crohns. How about adding a tablespoon of psyllium husk powder to a glass of water each morning, swigging it down and keeping...

BMW vs Suzuki Oil Change Intervals

Same quantity. I will stick to 5000 KM's. Seeing a drain plug like that with cuttings is not right. The magnetic plug should have a slight smear / stain only. 10,000 KM's is too much to ask from such a high revving engine IMO. Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

    Bring it CF-Moto !

These don't look like cheap motorcycles. You can def see what they've ripped off from the big names, but the big names steal from each other anyway: Sent from my ZTE A2020U Pro using Tapatalk

    Wearing Glasses and fogging up

A CKX Mission might work for you. It has a heated visor but more importantly, it has a silicone nose piece that is attached to the visor that comes down with the shield and covers your nose and mouth. Like a fighter jet breath box. The helmet is redesigned with channel ports at the rear to suck...

Standing by while a Certification Inspection is undertaken

A lot of mechanics get paid flat rate. I once worked at a dealership that had a sign above the entrance for those like yourself who want to talk to / hover over the mechanics. It read "You're paying the mechanic $125 / hour...talk to them all you want." It was a deterrent for sure...but you'd...

BMW vs Suzuki Oil Change Intervals

I'm used to 5000 - 6000 KM's on my GSX-R's past and present. Seeing BMW stretch it to 10,000 KM's with an engine that revs to 15,000 RPM makes me raise an eyebrow. Oil is relatively cheap...engines are not. But I don't hear of BMW engines popping off in person or from other riders or on forums...
