Has anyone converted their air intake that is under the fuel tank to cone air filters on a v star 1100, as well as installing a hypercharger. I am thinking of doing these upgrades but before I do I just want to get some feedback if anyone has done this on their v star 1100.

I need to remove my rear shock absorber on my 03 vstar 1100. The bike is on a lift off the ground & the rear wheel is still on. Do I have to only remove the bottom & top bolts from the shock assembly for this to come out or do I have to remove bolts from the swing arm as well.

I have bought a can of Lloyds/Kleens It electrical contact cleaner from princess auto that I want to use on all the electrical plugs on my bike. Have not used this yet as I am not sure if it will harm the paint or plastic electrical plugs. Anyone here have experience with this stuff.

But did not run the carbs dry as condensation may get in there if that was done.

A few years ago had put stabilizer into the tank & let it run to get it into the carbs then left it alone till now, but have not attempted to start the bike yet as the gas in the tank is most likely bad & the carbs are probably full of varnish.

Just finished bleeding my front brakes on a 2003 V Star 1100, I think that the master cylinder is too full with brake fluid. There is a lower mark on the side of the cylinder but unsure where the level should be.
