In line with what I was thinking, I'll take one for the team no prob. Like I said, I don't want to ruin it for the rest of the poor fellas.
Exactly, if I ask it's already doomed. I drove around and noticed a large cruiser parked alone in a parking spot. Bike belongs to neighbor on same...
Thanks for the replies.
I have 2 parking spots side-by-side with concrete walls on all three sides. Both my spots are sort of enclosed. These spots are dedicated to those who live on the penthouse floor with 2 parking spots entitled to per suite. One of my neighbors has his scooted parked...
I agree with those who advocate a quick swerve to the right lane may have prevented the accident, but who's "constantly" checking their side-view mirrors? And it's a split second decision with the only thing in mind is "oh sh*t, wtf". I was involved in the exact type of accident except I did...
Hey fellas and ladies,
Anyone familiar with condo regulaions and bylaws?
I need to know whether or not parking a sportbike and car in one parking spot is allowed. I'm a homeowner with 2 car parking spots side-by-side, with 2 cars and 1 bike.
If the thread doesn't already exist (with success) ........
Lets post where we see speed traps to give the rest of us heads up. I get the creeps seeing cops hiding to ticket a poor sole. It's no different than a robber hiding behind a bush and jumping out on its victim to take some money...
I generally seem to get much better vibes and courtesy from folks in the Oshawa/west end region.
Just stay the fukc away from VOS Motors in Concord on Keele. In particular, the fat/chubby salesman. Crazy shady.
Some of us really like pouring salt on the wound here. A lot of macho talk as if it is impossible to happen to them. Like they are doing others a favour by selling their bike. When you want to sell, you try to sell, not throw every potential buyer away by being a prick. None of us think...
I dunno man. I personally had an issue with a rider way back about 10 yrs ago in my old neighborhood. A-hole was always going very fast weaving in and out between cars and done it to me on more than one occasion. The icing was when he would rev his bike real loud at 1am and 2am going up and...
Desjardins quoted you under $400? That's strange. I'll maybe call again.
And I notice you have the GS750, do you know of any place I can get parts? I need a tank and seat (1982 silver GS750_
Key or fob, doesn't matter really. Anyone can get in if they follow someone else going in. Garage doors are sensored so that if the door is coming down and it senses a car underneath it will go back up.
That's why I comically suggested a stake out. I know how much the cops and property...
Any particular insurance company that gives great deals on vintage street bikes? I read a few raves on Desjardins so decided to call and they will insure it for the same amount SF will insure a sport 600cc for me.
New rider, above 28, cleaning diving record. I asked them if they quoted me...
^LOL!
I wouldn't give up that easily.
Anyone think about some sort of sting operation? Cops won't mind, it's like community/neighborhood watch except no Zimmerman actions.
When a bike is stolen and your insurance reimburses you, is that considered as a claim?
Congrats on passing the test, it's an awesome feeling I know.
I had a 250 and after riding it for a week I just wanted to pick it up and throw it off a bridge. Felt too weak and too small for "me". Go with what "you" feel is right for "you". Demo days sound amazing, I didn't even know...
No, currently riding a vintage 82 zuki gs750 semi-cafe and buddy's 99 cbr 600 occasionally. Had a zx250 but it felt weak, small, and just hated it (no offense to anyone). Gladly sold it quick with some loss. Desperately want a liter bike, but playing it safe for the moment.
I spent the entire morning looking for the actual dimensions of the 750 gsxr and 1000 gsxr to compare. Even from reputable sites (at least they seem reputable) they contradict each other in the length of the bikes.
Even on wiki if you read the 1000 specs, it's utterly ambiguous.
Can someone...
I'm north etobicoke, if someone can refer a good and cost effective mechanic it would be very much appreciated. Thanks
It's for a 1980 Suzuki GS750 cafe
