All those mentioned here, but one that has not been mentioned yes is starting the bike on a hill. I was always worried about getting stuck on a hill and getting in the way of traffic.

You probably have your heart set on a sport bike, but if you check around you will find the costs significantly lower for a 250 cruiser. May not be your dream bike, but at least you'd be riding until your premiums come down enough... Not even sure about a 500 cruiser, but would be worth looking...

That makes perfect sense to put the helmet away from the bike. Not so natural looking and would draw attention. I will keep that in mind for sure. Thanks for the input.

Thanks rmemedic, glad to know. He's actually an old rider from years ago. Health issues have caused him to give it up. He's quite protective over my bike, so I know he'll not let anything happen to it. He doesn't have many people over at any given time. I just hate the thought of it so close...
