    New Yamaha R-7

Extremely interested in seeing this pan out as a potential upgrade in a year or 2. Vitpilen 701 and the RS/Tuono 660 are the other choices. Price and features will dictate all I guess

How many of you guys ride with cameras on your helmets?

I have an old gopro session that I use on the chin of my helmet. I bought the mount for Ride Tech Moto for my AGV K3sv. Its a low profile, light weight, single button setup. Video quality isn't bad but the battery is only good for like an hour and 15min so enough for both ways of my commute...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

All quotes were full coverage. The bike is fine on highways. 120kph was like 7k rpm. It's a single though so it is buzzy. Maxes out right around 170kph. The R3 is likely the better bet on highways being a twin and all that.

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Sorta. Its super lean from the factory so it does run hot and the fan turns on more than usual at stop lights. After a tune, it doesn't run as hot and the fan not as frequent. I personally love mine to bits. Some insurance info though. I live at Keele and the 401 so I consider my insurance cost...

    ktm 2020 duke 200

As an owner of an RC390, I wouldn't go lower. The 390 is a nice sweet spot for agility and quickness. At 120kph though, I'm at like 6.5k rpm I think. Redline 10.2k. I feel like the 200 would NOT enjoy the highway at all if you gotta wring it out more. However a young rider might be looking for...

    M1 Exit Riding Course

Do the course for peace of mind. It'll be a piece of cake for ya, you get the licence endorsement at the end, and insurance companies like it. It costs a bit but the benefits for insurance rates long term easily outweigh the buy it. My dad and I got started on our licence paths around the same...

New rider getting denied insurance everywhere :(

I'm sure doing the M1 exit course and getting your M2 would help you get some coverage. I am 30 now but I've been in an at fault involving 2 other cars (2007), I've flipped my car (2010), and had a transport truck slide back into me during the winter on the 401 (2017). Of course, the at faults...

    Getting M2 soon. Ninja 400 or Cbr500r?

One thing to note with a new bike since I just bought one, you may get a cheaper rate. I got an additional 10% discount since I bought my bike brand new. I'm with Echelon through Rider's Plus and paying $125 a month living at Keele and 401. Highway isn't too bad with the RC390. 120kph isn't a...

    Hello GTA gang!

It's not a bad location! 401 is right there so getting around is no big deal until you start trekking downtown. I'm originally from Whitby so it was alot more chilled out than here. That's partially why I got myself a sub 400cc bike. Needed something smaller to start an insurance history...

    Hello GTA gang!

Andrew here, 30, Keele and 401 area. M2 license. Got my M1 4 years ago with my M2 following shortly after doing the M1 exit course. Rode my dad's bikes for about a year and a half until I moved out. Almost a full month ago, I purchased my first new bike, a 2019 KTM RC390. Loving life and hoping...
