Up until this year I always drove 15+ year old super sport bikes because even with 2 minor speeding tickets Intact Insurance only charged me 800 per year liability or for 1200 full coverage.
This year they increased my premium 400% because they no longer care how old the bike is, if it's a race...
That's exactly where he did it, Canadian tire at leslie and lakeshore.
They wont do it for a car but a bike no problem. They don't know if it is wrecked and needs work or what its worth just by looking at the ownership.
I'm saying that he showed them my receipt for a hundred bucks and paid the...
If you want to use them for the front two mounts on your FZ they are not long enough as far as I remember. I recall using the long pins with multiple holes and a cotter pin for adjustment. Like the ones used on muscle car hoods to keep them fastened.
Nice, I will always love these bikes. They have something unique about the handling that inspired a lot of confidence in the bikes abilities. Maybe a really good balance of power and suspension.
This is the case, there is no criminal intent here, the guy bought it legit and the only recourse I would have to recover something from the bike is if I could prove negligence on the part of the officer or the Toronto police. So I could sue in a civil case but nothing criminal happened here...
I was never notified of the bike being found. Maybe by todays standards it would be an easy thing to put together but in 2001 the computer systems were not what they are today. The first time I had any indication that my bike was found was this month. It was found a few days after I reported it...
Here is what it looked like when I got it.

This bike was a king in it's day, It won the isle of man TT and many other endurance contests.
In 1991 I had an 85 FZ750 which was...
Thanks for the reply's,
The bike was not insured and I'm not complaining about anything.
The MTO said my bike was in Scarborough.
I went to the police station, 54 div. and requested a copy of the original report. It was very short and incomplete. No VIN, just a short description where my bike...
Hey,
I was wondering if someone knows who's hands my bike ended up in.
Back in 2001 I just finished a total rebuild of an FZ. It ended up being quite cool.
So besides the mechanical rebuild and upgrades the most noticeable thing on the bike was the fairing mounting.
The fairings were held on...
Bro,
I have a gsxr750, I love it too but its the same bike with the same geometry as the gsxr600. So if the 750 is comfortable so will the 600 be. jus sayin.

Ken is an awesome mechanic, even if you do your own work he will trouble shoot your problem so you don't waste a bunch of time figuring out what's wrong. I highly recommend him for any bike work.
Yeah, I'm 5'9" and am comfortable on my gf's r6, I cant see anybody much taller than me being comfortable on an r6 for very long.
The bike loves the revs and has little torque as you said so city riding requires some work.
I have a gsxr750 and definitely prefer it in the city.
I would not bother spending money on your bike, you will out grow it by next year and the customizations will not increase your re sale value.
Just ride it and enjoy learning.
Hey everyone,
Its been a while, I trust everybody is doing well.
I recall a while back there was a discussion about an advanced street riding course that came with CD or book. It was an advanced course and was highly recommended by everyone that did it.
I was wondering if anyone remember what...
