    Bringing Her Back to Life

Mannn I gotta buy a new lower fairing now, my bike just looks incomplete without it. I'd go full streetfighter but I like the fact the windscreen blocks the bugs (and there are lots of them!) and wind.

New to riding in the city

Welcome to the forums! I, like you, learned how to ride out in a nice rural area (Port Dover to be exact) - was great with the minimal amount of traffic and nice long twisty roads. This is my first full season riding, I got my license end of the season last year.

    legal stunting?

K I'm going over to your house and I'm going to trip and fall off your stairs, you didn't put up a "watch your step" sign so I'm going to sue you now.

    *taps his helmet* Hi everyone...

Basically, don't do any of this stuff around a Police officer. :D Welcome to the forums!

    I Saw You: V.2.0

It's mostly the rider, his elbows should be bent, not straight, he's just transferring all the bumps from the front wheel right through his body instead of letting them absorb the impact!

    Integrated Tail Light Suggestion?

Bought the smoke one for a ZX9 from eBay and modified it to fit on my 86 FZ600, no problems with visibility but it was a process to hook up with relays and resistors to get it powered correctly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaCsoialr4A

    Flamborough - Snake Road Post

It's only this bridge: https://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=43.325396,-79.889479&hl=en&sll=43.324585,-79.889638&sspn=0.006892,0.010686&mra=mift&mrsp=1&sz=17&t=m&z=17 Shouldn't affect where you want to ride, just approach from the South.

TWO TYPES OF RIDERS - the kind that's been down, and the kind that's goin' down!?????

No one said they were nervous about it, they just know it's a very real possibility. The whole point of gear is you're expecting the worst, but hoping for the best... I can't see it any other way. Maybe it's because I was unfortunate enough to hit that small patch of gravel right when I was...

How loud is too loud? What will get me in trouble?

It's just a noise by-law as said - has nothing to do with your license, points, or insurance. If a cop ever hassles you for it, remind him about the harleys that drive around with straight pipes that like to ruin your sunday afternoon fishing trip at the pond.

Excellent post, got some good info from this thread.

LOL Good Luck Mr. Police Man

I'd probably just pull over and take a ticket instead of killing myself trying to get away from paying a fine...but that's just me. That being said, if a bike decides to run, it's pretty pointless for a car or truck police vehicle to pursue them, unless they have eyes in the sky.

    Foggy Helmet

I just spray mine before I ride - works fine. Lifting it open just a crack works well too!

    Having difficulty changing gears?

I'm betting boots too - in my running shoes it's much harder to shift than in my Alpinestars boots.

    Contour/GoPro and wind noise

With the ContourHD if you use the waterproof case it reduces the wind-noise significantly - but without it, I haven't found anything that works. Tape, foam tape, nothing worked... I get good sound recording through my Sena Bluetooth headset connected to my iPhone though.

To the idiot who wouldn't move out of the way of my ambulance....

I hate people that don't pull over for emergency vehicles! They could be on their way to your mom's house! wtf!
