Same reason they do not sell the Yamaha TDM 900, I guess they think there is no market for it here. I DO NOT AGREE AT ALL these bikes are great-BTW I own a TDM 900 in Europe.

Well just to throw my 2 cents. If we had a decent demand on this continent, bikes like the Yamaha TDM 900 are fantastic for covering km single or 2 up. I own one in Europe and did a 4000 km tour with my wife this summer. We did not feel the km's. Enough wind protection, seating is comfortable...
