When i first started riding the first time i took a highway trip it was to the Falls and on the way back i was in a torrential downpour. So both my first highway experience...
Oh yeah.. i forgot. Besides safety concerns. There's Bugs...
Here's what my helmet looked like after my last night ride...
imagine that with a halfy on.. ewww...
Looks like a nice bike to me. You can't go wrong with any Honda in my opinion.
I would be happy if i were you to be riding something that is a little more uncommon instead of the generic ninja's that 90% of new riders all seem to have. Now that is boring..
Welcome to the forum!
I thought halfy helmets were cool when i first started riding. I wore one for the first 4 or 5 months after getting my m2. But now i look back on that and feel very lucky to have done so and that i never got into an accident wearing it. Go full face, if you are ever in an accident it could save...
You should join v4musclebike forum if you're not already a member there (don't want to link/spam but you can google it). It's a forum specifically for Magna's, Sabre's and Vmax's. There are a few threads there about rads.
My v45 has a leak as well but i have yet to be able to determine where...
If your reply was to my post, i wasn't being a hater or judging their riding on their age. I'm nearly 45 myself. My point was it was clear these guys were riding so slowly to 'look cool to chicks', since they slowed down even more every time they passed one, and i do think is kinda silly at...
A few weeks ago i was riding east on the lakeshore and came up behind two guys on cruisers, they were maybe in their 50's/60's and driving side by side taking the entire lane and driving like turtles doing 20k. It was two lanes, but the streetcar was in the left lane followed by lots of cars as...
Besides all the usual benefits people mention, you do your M2 test at the school on the sunday fresh off your final lessons that day, and you are graded by the people who taught you all weekend, which to me seems a lot less stressful than doing it at the mto where the pressure is higher and you...
Ditto what everyone else said. She'll learn it all at the course. They take things really slow the first day. And most of the schools have 250 suzuki mauraders or tu250's available.
I can see a point there but it's a very unlikey thing to happen. That said i do test my kill switch once in a while while the bike is stationary in the garage in idle. You can do that every time you get on it to test it.
That's more of an arguement AGAINST using the kill switch. So now you have...
It is absolutely gross out today, 40+ with the humidity. Despite normally being an ATTAGT guy i just went for a quick 20 minute trip to futureshop and broke my rule and just went in jeans/tshirt and halfy lid, and i was still soaked in sweat when i got back home just from that short trip. I feel...
Just joined. I ride from Toronto to Welland every weekend or so and had my rad blow a leak the last time i was there just as i got onto the QEW coming home. Luckily it was in a rain storm and i didn't overheat and i made it home otherwise i could have been screwed. 130kms is a long way to push...
It's working fine here. How long were you having the problem. Websites go down for brief periods sometimes, it happens. Should have waited at least a day before posting and worrying about.
The general public can't tell the difference between a 250 ninja or a 1000+cc racing bike. Sports bikes all look the same to most people who don't ride bikes. They just see a crotch rocket and think everyone on them has them to race. To be honest i was always one of them. Not being a fan of...

I'm soo jealous that's similar to the trip i want to make but won't be able to for at least another year. What i would like to do is go west across Canada, then down from BC to California, then back east through the States and up from NY back to home at the end.
When you get to California stop...
Gross!. The guy that uploaded that video really needs to learn how to edit though, over 10 minutes long when all the action happened in the first 20 seconds. After that he could have just cut to the fact he lost his finger, then showed that end segment, shoulda been 2 minutes tops.
