We have an Escape with a trailer hitch. My wife got rear-ended by a Toyota Corolla, and our hitch impaled his front end. Way more damage to his car than ours, but still $800 in repairs for our vehicle.

Both Shoei's that I've owned, a TZR and a Neotech, have been comfy. The TZR tended to fog a bit though...

They need a little work (tires) to be any good in the dirt, but great for commuting.

I wrapped Xmas gifts on Friday evening listening to the doom-forecasting Weathernetwork. Saturday morning I bought a Honda EU2000. We got off lucky though here in Niagara, one minor power blip at my place, but no major outage. I like being better prepared for the future though!

This would work. In Quebec snow tires are mandatory, but Montreal is also a temperate zone colder than TO, and two temperate zones colder than Niagara.
