I need an M1 to ride, the drivetest faq says the only option is to write the test at the testing centre. Since all testing centres are closed it is impossible to get an M1. There is no set date for service resumption. For anyone else who may have this question here is the relevant excerpt and a...
I always wanted a super sport (thing of beauty), waited till the idiot grew up, trying not to kill myself got an SV650. Was never comfortable, too cramped. Goodbye SS dream. Now on a DR-Z400, love it. Time to update my avatar. =]
Balogna. Flash is dead. Also, ever wonder why you don't see bazillions of adult iPhone users complaining about that 'choice' they're all missing? Comparing shipping numbers between a product and an OS is a try hard move. Don't like your carrier? Unlock. Sorry about your luck 'merica, not the...
Now that i know how easy it is to set up, I use Ubiquiti Unifi cameras for surveillance. If it fits the budget and you care to roll the sleeves up a bit they have infrared for decent night captures, the cost vs quality tradeoff is more than fair for gear thats not consumer-grade. And if you...
Thanks, looks like GP doesn't have Gaerne listed...

Motostorm sure does have a wide selection... although as an overseas online dealer trying them on first would be tough!
+1 on the Forcefield inserts... although I recommend getting the Forcefield limb tubes to be sure they stay put over your knee. They're not 'thin', but are very flexible and conform quite well to a bent knee.

I tried on 3-4 diff pairs of knee armour and ended up with Forcefield Limb Tube Knee Armour to go with the Forcefield Action Shorts (all from bluestreakracing.ca).

Yes, I've heard about the egg before. Ok I admit it, I was gripping them harder than even hard boiled eggs would allow hehe. Very good advice though, thanks. One factor for sure is my back isn't used to this. It's not (yet) conditioned to hold me in a riding position where I can reach the...
Yea you're probably right... outta shape! Too much fun to complain for too long tho haha, however it's good to know it's not just me and practicing good form will help out. =]
You know, I've heard and read that several times and realize that is most likely my problem. Although, I should have been more specific and said 'thumbs'. Is that strange? For the large knuckle on both thumbs to take a beating? I'm pretty conscious about keeping my wrists straight (i have...
I went back and looked at the route and think I must've hit that before the forks. There's a hairpin (or two) by the picnic park, on a really steep incline if I recall. Is that known as rattlesnake point? For some reason it didn't catch me off guard like the forks did. Perhaps it was...
Sounds likely from the "boxed in -> crash -> took off" recounting of the story. Can't imagine someone putting it in reverse unless the premeditated intention was to cause damage to one or the other vehicles with a witness.
I DO think the story is fishy though... people do that kinda stuff I...
Today was my 3rd day on my first bike. Had to stop a lot... timmys, friends, bike shops, wrist shake out (thumbs!), map check, smoke, etc... but it was still a great day. Sore wrists (thumbs!) and neck but very happy nonetheless.
I recorded the track with MotionX GPS iPhone app...ports to...
I still recall my first trip to the peelers when I was 17 on leave from Base Border in Barrie for the weekend. The bouncers/waitresses/professional women def knew I was underage, they just didn't care because of the 'army factor'... we were going to be picked up by the military police if...
