Black Friday - can good deals be found for motorcyclists?

Crazy helmet price. Weren't the Scorpion EXO 400's recalled recently or something though? Edit: Link.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

To the rider of the red Honda 1000RR heading westbound this morning on the 401: nice Sidi boots! Also you're brave riding in the cold, it was -1 when I left the house.

    ninja 250r stands

I don't know about good sales, but I got both my stands from Riders Choice. For the front I grabbed the BVP version of this, works awesome. My rear stand is just a standard one for use with swingarm spools. If your bike doesn't have these I would recommend looking into them, they make lifting...

Riders choice oil change gone wrong.

You can do a bike oil change in place literally anywhere the bike is parked, you don't need a house or garage or fancy driveway. That's not to downplay what happened to you though, that really sucks :(

Does that really make a difference given what's coming off the bike?

    Spark plug change interval

I just replaced my spark plugs for the first time (due to this) without any prior knowledge of how to do it for any motorized vehicle. It was actually super easy. The hardest part was just getting the components off to access the plugs. Of course you need the right tools, but if you can invest...

    Rough Ride in the Rain

Just a quick update: after cleaning/reoiling the air filter, scrubbing the interior coil cavity with a brass brush, using an air compressor and vacuum to clean up the crud, replacing the spark plugs, and swapping the one ignition coil, the bike is as good as ever. That first test ride yesterday...

    Rough Ride in the Rain

Finally got around to taking a look at the issue last night. Here's what I found when I pulled out the ignition coils: You can see the rubber seal on the right is completely out of the cavity. Pulling them out: The seal was cut/torn letting water in for what looks like a decent amount...

    Incoming rain week

You're getting a lot of hate but I fully support the rain=**** philosophy. This month in general has been pretty gloomy, even if you don't ride.

    Remove Grease - Painted Surfaces

I was looking into some degreasers to clean up a lot of gunk around the bike in general. The area near the chain in particular is impossible to clean with a regular sponge + soap, but I'm afraid a degreaser would damage/remove some of the paint as well. So I have three questions. 1. Are my...

    Rough Ride in the Rain

Having taken my bike to work today I had no choice but to ride back in this crappy weather of ours. I've ridden in the rain before but I would have to say today was the heaviest I've been out in on the bike. I had a 30km commute from Brampton to Toronto, and by the time I hit the city streets in...

Who sells Scorpion EXO 700 Helmets in the GTA

As mentioned already, Kahuna sells these, and the 700s in particular are on sale there at the moment. $135 I believe (or something), but their selection is limited. I bought two of them this year.

    Replacement Levers

I did see some really cheap ones on eBay but am worried about the mechanical quality and fit. If something's wrong it's not like I can just call them up and have a quick turnaround. I'd rather have piece of mind and pay a bit more for it. I also don't want to mess around with something I'm...

    Replacement Levers

would you take a picture if you saw someone sketchy staring at your bike?

Not true at all. You can use any photo you like for personal use, including display and reproduction. It's commercial use of such photography that would be deemed illegal.
