    Rear shock gas cylinder placement.

Yea besides the obvious reasons of clearance and interference o just wasn't sure why there instructions were so specific. Even in the factory location there is no chance of it contacting anything if it were 3 mm or 5 mm, but there exact measurement of 4mm had me second guessing myself...

I find there products have gone downhill last few years. I used to love there stuff, was well made and lasted. Now I'm pretty sure it's no longer made in Canada and outsourced, quality has suffered since. I don't touch there stuff now. Glad it worked out for you tho.

    Rear shock gas cylinder placement.

Ah picture worked :) And this is how I have it mounted now, had to relocate for a trailer hitch. The hose now points down as where it pointed up previously.

    Rear shock gas cylinder placement.

Ok so this makes no sense to me whatsoever other then the fact that the manufacturer wants it in a specific location as to not contact anything during suspension travel. My FJR1300 rear shock gas cylinder has a very specific set of instructions in the repair manual as to how they want it...

    Plugging tires - opinion - Vstrom 650

I've never had any luck with those small mushroom plugs, string plugs have always worked plawelessly for me. Patch plug from the inside is definitely the way to go tho.

Be very careful on it, it extremely tight on mostly completely bl8nd corners and huge drop offs.. Traffic has a habit of coming round on your lane as well. But the scenery is second to none.

Chain and sprocket suggestions 2010 Wee

I like the JT steel sprockets, 80k on last one and still looked new, also used the DID gold chain and when I traded in the bike the chain had about 40k on it and was still good.

Pssst ...need a top case cheap ??...

Friend of mine bought one a few years back. It's cheaply made and you will have to figure out the mounting as it does jump around alot but for the price it's a deal. I think he even got a free gift (tshirt) ;)

What back protectors are you guys using?

I'm using the Forcefield Pro L2K EVO Back Protector when I'm out riding like an ass. Stupid comfortable and CE level 2... My Klim touring gear has the D30 inserts all around, I think they are only level CE 1
