    Mad Max

It is pretty much estrogen oriented, but the stunts/art/pacing overshadows it most of the time. It's a fun movie though, lots of sheet blowed up real good. Charlize did a good job of being what tank girl should have been. Needed more bikes and boobs though, IMHO.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

The first one was 79 (mad max) the second was 81 (road warrior) the third one in 85 (thunderdome)was the weakest of the bunch, paycheque time, but Tina was cool.

Big Guy New to Bikes? Please Help!!

I say go with the klr, you can sell it in a year or two for almost what you paid for it, or you can keep it when you get a more street oriented bike and have both as it will last a long time and take a real shitekicking. Besides, you may decide you like the DS thing, trees don't tend to cut you...

Garmin 60CSx - uploading GPX files

I don't think you can use headphones with the 60csx, but it will beep and show the turn in greater detail along with a red banner across the top of the screen with directions. I have no problem hearing it at speed in a full face with earplugs.

Garmin 60CSx - uploading GPX files

It's a good gps unit, I have one and it does fine for what you want. No Bluetooth or voice etc. and a little small for a screen but it depends what you want. I believe I have a garmin topo Canada map file you can upload if I can find it. It will run all day on a pair of double a batteries...

Rosedale Valley Road - High Risk?

That depends, you got a pic of her we can see? But hey, if you are legislating morality who is responsible for determining who the 'responsible' people are?

Rosedale Valley Road - High Risk?

Maybe the parents should be charged with negligence for letting the kid ride one? But ya, should not have been on that bike, not based on age or experience, but based on lack of respect for the machine, his passenger, the rules and of course himself. RIP

Riding the Canadian and maybe US Rockies - recommended roads/routes

Same website but different section, your link is for Wales...the one I posted is for BC. Like I said, it is hard to pick a bad road in that general area, more twisties than sweepers if I remember correctly, just stay in the middle to southern part of the province and when you get tired of it...

Riding the Canadian and maybe US Rockies - recommended roads/routes

3, 3a and 6 were a lot of fun (in bc), take you through a bunch of towns and villages etc., it's hard to wrong once you are in that area. The Rockies are awesome, but the tree covered mountains have their own attraction. You could also check this out...

    Motorcycling Training

IMHO you should seek private lessons as you have a specific skill set you feel is lacking and private lessons would be easier to schedule around your time restrictions as well as being able to focus on the specifics you want to learn. You may also find that once an instructor sees you ride...

A little help from the Airheads...

Condolences buddy, I think you may get more here than you would in BC as I think there are more of them out there, not really sure though. Airheads are the grateful dead, those that like them are usually obsessed with them, which could work out for your sale. Let me know if you want to fly out...

The clash of dual-sport/ADV 650 thumpers

I just adjusted the lever to fit the boots, but it does take a little focus to shift with the mx boots, but I am a slow rider off pavement, too far away from emergency services to crash really hard.
