    Total Control, Racer5 or FAST?

I found the level 1 total control to be mostly body positioning focused. Level 2 you actually got to work on vision, trail breaking, and turn point etc. Both levels are awesome, personally i enjoyed level 2 more than 1 on top of that the skills days they hold really ingrain what is taught. I...

How do you prefer to ride?

alone most of the time; seem to like it that way. Ride with a buddy sometimes as well, been riding together for years aka we know how eachother rides quite well. I'll attend the occasional group ride but I hate how unpredictable they are. you just never know what the rider in front of you (or...

Did everyone take the rider training course?

As instructors we tend to cater to everyone. To be honest I love the more advanced stuff and absolutely love showing competent riders new things. Are you looking deep enough through turns? Is your body position good? Balls of your feet on the pegs? Do you know to do a u-turn properly? What...

    Do Less?

conservation of energy. Use precisely the amount of input needed for a given output. No more, no less. In other words, if you don't need to do it, don't. Examples of 'doing more': fifty pencing (constantly adjusting in turns), early turn in (getting anxious/tense and turning in too soon), et...

    Having only bike as commute?

I do it; good gear is a must! TTC when its too bad out. As for suit and tie I've heard of people grabbing an aerostitch roadcrafter and it fitting nicely over suits. If you had some quality luggage (givi or similar) you could carry shoes etc around too!

Lee Parks and Total Control are coming to Ontario

people have lowsided before but its quite a rare occurence. a really great safety feature in the course is they have you deflate your tires to 30 psi which increases grip a bunch. technically speaking, the whole point of the course is to help you not fall. its when studenta put in incorrect...

Can being unaware that 11b exists be grounds for an adjournment?

So got a speeding ticket on Feb 14th, 2012 (valentines day out of all days!) (77km/h in a 60km/h zone) court date scheduled for March 25, 2013 (8 days from today). Really didn't realize that anything over 8-10 months past filing a non-guilty plea is grounds for 11b. I don't have enough time...
