The pace

After reading that it just reminded me how boring riding on the street is but it does a good job of showing the differences between the two.

Let's see, the article was originally published Sept 2006.......

Good article, has been posted here a time or two :)

Not gonna lie this saved my butt a couple of times.

Young boys + fast bikes = trouble without following 'the pace' principles

sounds like a buncha hoopla

I had a funny feeling so I googled "hoopla". I don't think that's it. Certainly not a buncha. Please advise.

I reviewed your concern, and after googling the term myself i would like to inform you that i have indeed used the word in an appropriate manner.

I hope this clears things up and that you may continue to enjoy my services.

As my normally sound judgement is being slowly eroded this wonderful eve I will take you at your word and, rest assured, the inaccuracies of your posts don't diminish the enjoyment of your services. Salute.

Yes...... The Pace is a repost. All the above BS stuff aside The Pace is a great way to ride and long distance ST riders do this all the time. Straight line speeds, where all of the LEO's are, are reasonable, and corners, what riding is all about, are spirited but not crazy.

Not if you like seeing new places and enjoying the ride to get there.

If there were more turns on our roads then maybe but after 12 years on the street I felt the only way to further progress my skill SAFELY was on the track. I don't ride to look at the scenery, it's just not for me. I'll see the sights from the comfort of my truck while driving to the track. Nothing like watching the sun come up with a coffee in your hand and and thinking about dragging knee at double the speed limit.

Horses for courses....given the choice between a few hundred riding days or a few track days I'd take the riding days every time. Going round the same courses would drive me nuts after a while.
