I remember a few years ago (was it Wonderland?) they had those misting stations and they worked surprisingly well. I have a cooling vest that I picked up one year on summer trip out west. It worked well when you get over the wet dripping feeling when you first put it on until you start moving...

Just got back from a 2 hour ride. I was so lucky very few red lights and little traffic, kept moving and wasn’t hot. Then I stopped to fill up. The sweat was filling up my glasses. Days like this I think early morning or evening rides are the best. Take water with you if you can.
