Maybe just get rid of all the signs and make it an adventure to try and figure out where you are. If you are really good you might end up where you wanted.

Isn't that how the PATH has worked for decades? Make sure to incorporate a bunch of twists and turns so you both lose touch with the direction you are walking and can't see very far to know which way the next turn is going to take you.

I was/am downtown today is it really necessary to have 20 to 30 cops on motorcycles to escort 2 SUVs through traffic. The SUVs would not even stand out if they didn't have Fifa plastered on the side.

That just made my Christmas shopping list a whole lot easier.
On a second thought, no details were give about the kid. What if he / she had a mental condition or spectrum disorder. A knuckle sandwich may be appropriate for a brat but not downs syndrome etc.

Regardless, the problem is with the parents. If it's just brat behavior it can't be allowed to continue. If it's ADHD, autism, bipolar, OCD, Downs etc it's still the parents responsibility. Either the parents, who are aware of the condition, take the responsibility or they advise the airline of the problem and it gets accommodated safely and legally.
I'm sure schools deal with the issues far more often than Porter Airlines.
It's a tough call but there's a bigger problem when dozens of adults can't prevent a child from taking over a flight.

I agree. If the parent is aware of the problem and doesn't mitigate it's their problem. Assumptions don't apply.

Passengers may have lost connections to other airlines and missed prepaid family events or business meetings. Cruise ships don't wait.
I don't know the strike situation at WestJet but an elderly woman I know purchased a ticket to go see her bother one last time. If the flight never happens she gets a credit not a refund. There is no where else she wants to go. Way to go WestJet.
So they have to eat it because someone can't control their kid and rolled the dice hoping it wouldn't **** the bed?
